Assessing and Supporting Veterinary Information Needs Workshop

ASVIN Workshop
25 April 2001

The ASVIN (Assessing and Supporting Veterinary Information Needs), funded by the Research Support Libraries Programme, has spent 18 months researching the potential for collaborative collection management with a group of veterinary and animal health library and information services. The purpose of this seminar is to disseminate those findings, and to hear other speakers discussing their experiences in some of the fields that ASVIN has researched.

Although the research project concentrated on the animal health and veterinary information fields, the forthcoming seminar will not be so subject specific. The seminar will be of interest to librarians and information professionals working in the veterinary and animal health fields, and also anyone with an interest in library co-operation.

There is no charge for the seminar. Coffee, lunch and tea will also be provided free of charge.

For further information please visit the ASVIN web site.
