The University of Glasgow is in the progress of developing a new initiative in comparative medicine and hopes to create a new professorial position in this subject. The plan is to appoint a veterinarian to a joint position between the Glasgow Veterinary School and Medical School. It is of the greatest concern to identify a strong researcher - the subject is secondary, but expected to be in comparative aspects of e.g. pathology, oncology, neurology, cardiology (or other areas).
